The postures in Power Yoga or Easyflow class are performed in a series and connected to each other by breath and movement (vinyasa), so that a continuous 'flow' arises. The difference between Power Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga lies among others in the duration of the series. A Power Yoga class consists of a shortened and modified version of the 'Primary Series'. Power Yoga can also be more varied by adding different poses than those from the Primary Series. This creates a unique and varied lesson time after time. Sometimes extra attention is paid to a specific theme, such as hip openers or twists (twisted postures). The purpose of vinyasa is for internal cleansing. Breathing and moving together while performing asanas makes the blood hot, or, as Guruji said, “boils the blood.” Thick blood is dirty and impure, causing disease in the body. The heat created from vinyasa cleanses the blood and makes it thin, so that it may circulate freely. When there is a lack of circulation, pain occurs. The combination of the asanas with movement and breath make the blood circulate freely around all the joints, taking away bodily pains. The heated blood also moves through all the internal organs removing impurities and disease, which are released from the body by the heat that occurs during practice.

EASY FLOW (especially suitable for beginners)
Easy Flow is a quieter version of Power Yoga. Just like with (beginners) Power Yoga, the postures are performed in a series and connected to each other by breath and movement (vinyasa), creating a 'flow'. These lessons are only a bit slower. This gives the teacher more time to adjust the postures to your physical and / or mental condition at that moment. This lesson is ideal for people who want to start yoga (especially the older people), people with a certain injury, women in the period just after giving birth or just for people who want to take it easy.
REGULAR POWERYOGA (more experienced yogi)
As a framework, the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga is used. At each lesson, certain postures are omitted and added. This creates time and time again a unique and varied lesson, in which you always encounter familiar and lesser-known attitudes. Sometimes extra attention is paid to a specific theme, such as hip openers or twists (twisted postures).
