Teachers of the Ashtanga Yoga teacher training

The teachers of the program are asthanga practioners and have years of ashtanga practice. They still regularly study with their teachers: Sharath Jois and Petri Raisanen.

Below you can read more about their (ashtanga) yoga path.

FIEKE KLAASSEN
Fieke decides to follow the Ashtanga Yoga Intensive Training in 2009 in order to deepen her own yoga practice but hopefully also to be able to apply some aspects of it in her work as a trainer and coach. As a trainer / coach she works with people and organizations in the field of mindfulness, communication, and awareness at that time. After the training, she is asked to teach at The Yoga Studio in Eindhoven and the yoga studio in Weert. What first started as one evening in the week of teaching yoga quickly grows to more. In addition to giving a number of yoga classes per week (mysore / ashtanga style, power yoga and easyflow), she is now also studio manager at De Yoga Studio Eindhoven, she works as a yoga teacher and is affiliated with the Ashtanga Yoga (teacher) Training. In addition, she keeps her knowledge and skills as a trainer and coach up to date by also supervising regular training and coaching processes in the field of personal and team development.

From her first visit to the studio (in 2009) to the present she is a true ashtanga enthusiast. And has had the privilege of meeting many (inter) national guest lecturers and studying with them.

After a ski accident, she had to cancel her (long-awaited) first trip to KPJAYI due to a broken ankle. After surgery and rehabilitation she was still on the mat six months later at Sharath Jois and so she knows from her own experience how healing the practice can be at both physical and mental level. Fieke knows better than anyone how contagious the yoga virsus can be and also likes to guide others on this wonderful path.
