How / when did yoga come into your life? What does yoga mean to you?
I have been practicing yoga for more than ten years (of course always at De Yoga Studio 😉) so yoga has been in my life for a while. In 2016 I started following the Children's Yoga course and after that I followed an Anatomy & Yin Yoga course.
For me, yoga means coming home to myself. Always when I follow a lesson myself or when I teach I experience an inner peace.
What can students expect in your lesson? What do you want to give your students?
I hope I can help you to just be in silence and listen carefully to what your body is telling you. I enjoy applying traditional Chinese medicine (elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, water) in my lessons and explaining the meridians and qi.
What do you do besides yoga?
I work at the Dutch Red Cross and there I started a new position in May 2019. I manage three locations in Central and West Brabant. In addition, I am the mother of two fantastic children. A nice but busy life 😉
